This page sets out the general principles applicable to services provided by Selection ICT SRL through ITSelect. It does not replace specific terms that may be included in a proposal or contract.
Engagement framework
General terms applicable to ITSelect services.
These terms describe the general framework for advisory, diagnostic, audit, support and deliverable-based services provided by Selection ICT SRL through itselect.be.
Proposal and assignment
Each assignment is preceded by an exchange and, where appropriate, a proposal specifying objectives, scope, deliverables, assumptions, timing and financial terms.
Advisory, not absolute guarantee
Recommendations are based on the information available at the time of the assessment. ITSelect supports decision-making but does not guarantee the total absence of risk, incidents, non-compliance or vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
A collaboration based on transparency and quality of information.
The quality of findings depends on the availability of documents, access, stakeholders and information provided by the client.
Client responsibilities
The client agrees to provide accurate, relevant and up-to-date information, designate appropriate contacts and validate deliverables within timelines compatible with the assignment.
ITSelect responsibilities
ITSelect applies its expertise with diligence, confidentiality and professional independence. The analysis aims to produce pragmatic recommendations aligned with the client’s means and context.
Access and data
Any access provided remains under the client’s control. Accounts, secrets, exports or sensitive documents should be shared through suitable channels and limited to what is strictly necessary.
Legal framework
Confidentiality, intellectual property, payments and liability.
Specific terms of an assignment may supplement or adapt these conditions when provided for in a proposal, purchase order or signed contract.
Confidentiality
Non-public information exchanged during an assignment is treated as confidential, unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise specified, the client receives an internal right to use deliverables produced for the assignment. ITSelect’s pre-existing methods, models, templates and know-how remain the property of Selection ICT SRL.
Reasonable limitation
ITSelect cannot be held liable for decisions made by the client, failure to implement recommendations, or indirect damages. Belgian law applies unless otherwise agreed.
